A Rustic-country Extension

I just love this single storey extension! However, this wasn't a straightforward 'pass' from a planning perspective.  

The existing house is a large but linear barn conversion, and where we wanted to extend was towards the front and side (as opposed to the rear). But of course, this sympathetic design sailed through.
