The Planning Process:

Not every project needs planning permission, however each project does need planning in the preparation. I have an abundance of experience in all types of planning permissions, and great knowledge of building/modifying with conservation or listed building consent. This made is attainable through my positive working relationships with local council across the country.

A large percentage of my work includes preparing and presenting design proposals, advising clients, producing detailed drawings, negotiating with contracts, and organising other professionals if needed.

Architectural drawings for your dream home will help you to visualise the extension before it is created. This allows you the chance to change or move things before the work actually begins - it's much cheaper to move a wall on a computer than on-site!

My reputation has been built on designing beautiful spaces, which improve the way you live whilst adding value to your home. My 3D design process enables me to explore various design options before we embark on the detailed design phase - allowing you to be confident that the final design really is right for you and the property. 

Building Regulations:

Where planning deals with the look and the massing of a project, the building regulations will determine how your project is constructed. This will involve discussions on topics such as thermal efficiency, structure, means of escape and more!

At NJG designs, I aim to ensure that each project runs as smoothly as possible for both the contractor and the client. This is achieved through detailed drawings, and a wealth of knowledge within the building regulation sector. I also have a fantastic working relationship with Cheshire West and Chester Building control, which allows projects to run faster and smoother.
